I am William Pharel Anderson Sr., a passionate writer and poet who firmly believes in the power of literature to inspire change, both in Liberia and worldwide. With a deep love for words and their ability to transform lives, I dedicate my career to nurturing literary talent and fostering cultural exchange.

As the President and Founder of the Liberian Poet Society (LPS), I lead initiatives to promote Liberian writers, oversee projects, develop work plans, and ensure our goals are met. My work is a reflection of my commitment to building a vibrant literary community in Liberia.

In addition to my role at LPS, I have had the privilege of serving as Vice President of the International African Writers’ Association (IAWA) in Nigeria. In this position, I play a vital role in shaping the organization’s strategic vision, guiding teams, and driving growth. My focus is on expanding the association’s reach, boosting profitability, and keeping a competitive edge. I find immense satisfaction in leading and inspiring others in the African literary community.

As a freelance writer, I bring creativity and originality to every project I undertake. Whether producing content for marketing campaigns or mentoring aspiring writers, I use my skills in creative writing, content development, and editing to help others achieve their literary ambitions. I am passionate about creating meaningful connections between writers and their audiences.

Throughout my journey, my passion, dedication, and love for literature have been at the core of everything I do. Whether leading a project, mentoring fellow poets, or developing my creative work, I am driven to use literature as a tool for positive change.
